Schooner Woodwind aims to provide you with the most unique and authentic sailing experience on the Chesapeake Bay. Due to the various weather conditions, wind speed, and wind direction, we have no set course and each sailing cruise is unique. In the same day it is possible for us to be drifting in the lightest of breezes and hours later we may have the boat at a 35° angle with waves coming across the bow. These varied conditions are part of the adventure of sailing. This variety along with great Captains and crew is why many people return and many friends have been made.
Wind is our power, sun is our warmth, and rain can be refreshing. Please be prepared for the weather conditions of the day.
